My Nissan Laurel 1986, 2,8 diesel, is back in Mint Condition

My dear Nissan Laurel 2.8 Diesel is back in top condition! After the regular EU control, it was noted on the right rear brake cylinder. I had an extra axle for the same model that had gone only a little over 1000 miles, and it was taken out, and new parts came from Utskarpen and from Ramseng Auto Mo I Rana. It is difficult to get hold of parts for such an old car, but they did it, and the new parts were put on the almost new rear axle, and my good neighbor, Morten Holien, Drageid, did a great job, on very short time, he took rear axle down, and the new fitted, with adjusted brakes and new bushings in the suspension – then  the car was like new again. Morten Holien has a good workshop, and with a skilled mechanic is all good! Good Weekend!

We are looking forward to Springtime!

Now we are really waiting for the Spring! We like to see the asfalt on the roads, and maybe an Elk or a Moose?

Besøk på "gamlejobben" i dag - Emil kjente mange kolleger...

I dag har vi vært en sväng i Umeå! Emil wanted to visit the kindergarten in Gräsmyr, so we drove by there, and everyone was very happy for our visit. Emil remembered of course that he was "elgjakt" - Elk-hunting with his buddies, and when he saw the picture from the hunt, it was clear to him. He played for a while before we went home to Elsy & Lasse for dinner: elgsteik special! The final clue to the day was the ICE-car which came along our street. Emil got he favorite ice. Then we talked with Veronika and Marielle on SKYPE. Tomorrow we will be going home to Norway again.

The sun is up, and the heat is on, the spring and summer is near? Emil finally got his good friend Arvid over, and they are playing outside trying to get rid of the BIG snowhill I made earlier this winter!

Sweden - back for spring-activities...? In the snow!

Well, we came here in good shape, via Brännland, where we got Pizza for everyone! Today we had a super wash all over the house, and then we left for Umeå, to shop.We found equipment for our new Induction stove back home, and we also had to get a compost Bin for the new system here. Emil liked the work to assemble the thing. He seemed to know how to, and the Bin is big enough for us here. Then he liked to get rid if the rest of the snow, I guess the sun will help to melt it down.

Mosjøen - we are visiting Hellen og Magnar - Elisabth's birthday!

Here we are, we was greeted with a great dinner, Rakfisk, yesterday evening we tested the birtdaycake for Elisabeth! Have a great weekend, We will be attending the seminar the rest of the weekend.

The new Jøtul complete from today

Well, today we got the extra for the new heater in our livingroom. It was this special dekor, it is made in soapstone, very decorative. I hope it will help keeping the heat longer. Soon the spring is here, then we have no use for the thing. It is ok. The weather is very mild here today, so the snow will soon disappear!
