Friday - the day after the funeral. We had visitors and all went mountain hiking

Today we were visited by two Skaftnes, Paal and Terje. They were here in Saltdal due Mor Jorunn's  funeral yesterday. Jorunn died 22. July, and was buried from Saltdal Church, Rognan. We had a large collection of relatives on the balcony with Knut last night, and then Paal suggested that we should have a family reunion. It was designated as "2012", and event committee was appointed and the committee has already held its two meetings, and we are well underway. Domains are registered www.vollen.org and website are out already from last night. There are descendants of Hulda & Hans Pedersen Drageid. Today we went as a trip to the cabin at Lena and Svein, after we had drunk coffee here at Skavmoen. After this the Brothers returned to their homeplace, and we went to Storjord, where we visited the National Park Center, and we ate dinner at Saltdal Turistsenterr. A hot summer day!
Later that evening we visited Turid & Bengt at Evensgård, Tjuaen were in bloom. Then saturday we had visitors, great!

Today, things continued to happen, we delivered my Nissan into the hospital, and it was market in Åsele, the largest in Northern Sweden!

Sorry but I'm not very good in repairing fuel pumps, so had my Nissan into the workshop today. The car stopped on E4, and it was fortunate that Marcus could drag us to Trollstigen. It was a tragic morning, but improved considerably after we went on Åsele Market, the largest in Northern Sweden! We met Elsy and Lasse there, and  there were many activities we could participate in, including. I had be on the stage in a magic show, then the magician, stole my phone. I got it back. Otherwise, we were only 7 of 150 000 visitors, and there was plenty of food to taste. I tipped the size of the salmon Tyko, I have not heard anything yet, so the odds were probably not very close, or so my ticket was not pulled out. We shopped a little, so much, I got me a chat with VildHasse, participating also this year, with several stands on the market. We took a long detour home, and now we have also visited the hotel in Fredrika, we had coffee for everyone, and then we visited Buddha Temple Place - where we saw two huge statues at least 15 meters high, and an exhibition showing the history of the site.

Sunday - still hot and a lazy day, then visit to Brännland, and a long detour home.

We visited Näslunds in Brännland, and found that they had come a long way in the work on the wall, and so they "hyppet" the potato with a 4 wheeler. After fika and a chat while, we went home, via Håknäs, a small detour, and here we found a real Swedish "Smultronställe" - markjordbär - wild strawberries -  in Norwegian. Great flavor. All this at a war memorial, with history from 1808! The war between Sweden and Russia 1808 to 1809. In june 1809 the Swedish army had to retire and they took up new positions on this side of the river Öreälven. The russian did not manage to march any further south. We were guided by the local historian Marcus.  Then tomorrow we will make my Nissan ready for surgery, he will get his stunned at 9:00 in the morning. Then it can go well, otherwise it's over and out of the old struggler. Then it might well be Åsele Market?
